At NWCS we recognise that our employees are our most valuable asset when it comes to delivering high quality services to the people we support. We know how important it is to recruit people with the right attitude and values to ensure our standards are maintained.

We are keen to employ people who have a real commitment and passion to support disabled people, maximise their independence and support elderly people who need extra care to remain in their own homes.  We recruit people from a variety of backgrounds, with different skills and interests and match them to the people they will be supporting.

Anchor 1
Equal Opportunities

As an equal opportunities employer, we ensure that no job applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of age, sex, disability, nationality, race or ethnic origin, religion or belief (or lack thereof), sexuality, marital or civil partnership status or transgender status, or is disadvantaged by conditions or requirements that are not essential for carrying out the requirement of the job.

Training and Development

We believe that good training for our staff is essential to us providing high quality person centered care and support services. We provide a full induction training programme for new employee's and then offer on-going training to support your continuous professional development.

Support / Care Worker Role

We have a number of Support / Care Worker roles which are interesting, varied and are extremely rewarding.  Most of our support / care worker roles will involve providing some form of personal care but this varies depending on the service and the needs of the person or people you will be supporting.

Care Worker Role

A Care Workers role is varied and will involve working in an extra care housing complex or travelling between the homes of older and disabled people who need extra care and support at specific times throughout the day. The job will involve visiting a number of people to provide support with a range of tasks.
